You will need to dig a trench and bury the wire.
If you need a bigger roaming area for your dogs you will need to buy extra wire.
More than one dog you will need to buy additional collars
Battery life on the collars very poor, so we highly recommend that you spend an extra $40 and make sure you get a rechargeable collar otherwise you will be paying out a small fortune in 6volt batteries.

Read the instructions first and be very careful with the thin wire when stringing it. Don’t crimp it or else it will cause a lot of heart ache, once buried however the thin wire is not a concern at all.
