So the most important question that most people ask is how does it work?
How long does it take to set up?
What size dogs is this suitable for?
Do I have to train my dog?
How many dogs can you have with this system?
So let's answer the first question How does the Havahart Wireless Radial Shaped Dog Fence System work?
The system forms a circular shaped boundary when the dog gets to close to the boundary the controller which is mounted to a wall in your house sends out a signal to the dog and the collar will give your dog a minor static jolt if it attempts to pass through the wireless dog fence and this will teach your dog that he can only go so far.You will have to take time out to train your dog but we will talk about that a little later.
When you put the collar onto your dog make sure it's not to tight or loose, (you should be able to slot one finger in between the collar and your dogs neck)To tight and your dog will feel uncomfortable and you could damage your dog to loose and your dog may remove it and loose it and buying a replacement will damage your wallet.
There is a special transceiver built into the collar that sends a radio transmission to the receiver box inside. With the havahart® wireless dog fence system they have made 3 enhancements that make this system far more reliable then some other brands on the market. They make this system with an enhanced signal strength, a smarter interface so this makes for more reliable communication between the dog collar and the controller. Because of this the communication between the special collar and the controller the accuracy of the distance of the dog to the fence gives you a more reliable results.
